1. Lighter by Yung Pueblo
Yung Pueblo has been one of my favorite poets for a while now, and with no shortage of inspirational words available on his social media, I can get my fill of his wisdom whenever I need it.
His newest work is a reflection on life, loss, love, addiction and recovery, healing from the inside out, and the importance of knowing yourself.
The way he writes is so beautiful and wise, sharing personal stories and guiding the reader through his journey.
2. 101 Essays That Will Change the Way You Think by Brianna Weist
Brianna Weist is one of our time’s most prolific writers. This book is no exception.
Thought-provoking, encouraging without patronizing, and poetically written, this book will be a welcome addition to your bookshelf.
It is full of real-life applications and habits to build for a happier, more purpose-driven life.
This book is also excellent on Audible!
3. A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson
One of my favorites ever, this book will leave you contemplating the way you think, how you treat others, and how you treat yourself.
Marianne Williamson really tells it how she sees it, and this book offers practical guidance with a spiritual tone.
4. Wherever You Go, There You Are by Jon Kabat-Zinn
For anyone looking to start a meditation practice, or even just looking to be more present in everyday life, this is an excellent first read.
Combining ancient practices with modern applications, Kabat-Zinn guides the reader through the first steps of mindful living.
5. Radical Acceptance by Tara Brach
Radical acceptance is all about healing the stuff we are really ashamed of.
It offers gentle guidance and medicinal practices for opening up to the hard stuff.
Tara Brach is an angel on Earth, and her work continues to inspire me and people all over the world. If you enjoy her writing, I highly recommend checking out her website for more resources and guided meditations.
