Each year, Aveda sets out on a global mission during Earth Month to protect our planet’s most precious resource: clean water. At Hues Salon & Wellness, we’re proud to be part of this movement—and this year, we're going BIG.

Did you know the average woman or child in a developing country walks 3.7 miles a day just to reach water?
And it’s not even clean.

This daily journey keeps girls out of school, limits economic growth, and leads to health problems that ripple through entire communities.

But here’s the kicker: just $40 can end that walk for good by providing access to clean, local water.

🌟 Who Benefits?

Thanks to your support and Aveda’s partnership with global and local organizations, incredible things are happening:

🌍 Charity: Water (Global Impact)

  • Over 111,000 people gained access to clean water in the last year through Earth Month fundraising.

  • Access to clean water increases school attendance by 12%, especially for girls.

  • Local economies flourish when women no longer spend hours fetching water—they can work, create businesses, and contribute to their communities.

🌊 Gulf Restoration Network (Local Impact)

After the BP oil spill, the Gulf Coast needed serious healing. Aveda’s Earth Month efforts contributed to:
