Where Your Support Goes (and Why It Matters)
This fundraiser isn't just about strawberries — it’s about visibility, sustainability, and dignity for small businesses and the people behind them.
After we meet our first goal of revamping the garden area in front of 19 North Church Street, we’ll finally be able to restore street visibility for the businesses inside — something we’ve been working toward for years.
In 2021, the City of Fairhope dug the street down 30 feet for utility work, cutting off walking traffic to our building for months. Since then, it's been an uphill climb to rebuild foot traffic, awareness, and access. Even now, our building is barely visible from the street due to overgrown landscaping we haven’t had the resources to properly restore.
With your help, we’re changing that.
Once we hit our visibility and beautification goal, ALL THAT IS PROFITED will go toward funding what small businesses so rarely get to fully provide:
âś… Education funds for continuing professional training
âś… Tools and supplies each team member needs to grow
âś… Paid time off, so no one has to choose between rest and income
We know that from the outside, businesses can look successful. But behind the scenes, small teams like ours are constantly balancing rent, payroll, inventory, utilities, and staying afloat during seasonal slowdowns — and those “extras” that big companies take for granted often get pushed to the bottom of the list.
This fundraiser helps change that.
It’s not charity. It’s community-backed reinvestment — and we are so deeply grateful.
